He arrived in November 2008 following 10 years spent writing about Idaho's abundant rivers, public lands and colorful personalities as a reporter and assistant editor with the Idaho Mountain Express newspaper in Ketchum. A 2005-2006 recipient of a Ted Scripps Fellowship in Environmental Journalism at University of Colorado at Boulder, Greg is versed in water law, public land law and natural resources law.

Beyond his abundant hobbies, which range from playing the guitar to whitewater kayaking, he's an avid student of life. Greg is excited to dip his toes into the world of river advocacy.

Kate Reading
Administrative Coordinator

Kate Reading is a 2010 graduate of Boise State's political science program, with an emphasis on political theory and law. An Idaho native, Kate is passionate about the state's abundant natural assets and points out that honing a conservation ethic was an integral part of growing up here. An avid equestrian, Kate is excited to be the newest member of one of Idaho's leading voices for conservation.

Teri Tate McColly
Director of Major Gifts
Teri Tate McColly is a new member of the IRU staff. Growing up in McCall, she just assumed everyone had a lake to swim in the summer and ski hills to traverse in the winter. Spring was spent in Riggens picnicking on the Salmon River, (when the snow in McCall was yuck). She remembers many trips down Highway 55 following the up and down Payette river, watching the kayakers and rafts fly over whitewater rapids. Leaving McCall was awaking and a call to action.

Teri took to the airwaves in years past as a DJ in Boise on the appropriate station – The River and most recently worked at Journal Broadcasting Group in advertising and production.

Looking forward to working with the fundraising efforts of Idaho Rivers United, Teri hopes to grow support for preserving the beauty of Idaho that she once took for granted. She is also excitedly looking forward to exploring new stretches of whitewater with IRU partners and finding new ways to raise funds to sustain the respected work of Idaho Rivers United.
