On Feb. 28 at 6 p.m., please join Idaho Rivers United for our monthly lecture series at the Garden City Public Library featuring Judy Snow from the Chinden Gardeners Club and Garden City Pollinator Habitat.
It's a great time to learn about pollinators. One in every three bites of food we eat depends on pollinators. Learn about the threats to pollinators today, meet some fascinating pollinators who live among us and learn how to create safe habitat for them. We all need to help make our world safer for pollinators.
Judy is an active bee keeper, keeping both honey bees and mason beers. Her enthusiasm for protecting bees has been instrumental in bringing together government, commercial, and organizations working to save our bees. As a result of her work, Garden City Council passed a resolution in August to move forward to become the first Bee City USA in the State of Idaho and 13th in the nation.
