My Father's Idaho: Ketchum

  • 415 Spruce Avenue Ketchum, ID 83340 United States

Idahoan Rifka Helton has worked to preserve thousands of photos that her father, "Red" Helton, took of the state in the 1950s and 60s when he was a professor at the University of Idaho. Rifka, a singer, set the photos to original songs and performs them in a piece she calls "My Father's Idaho."

This is a unique opportunity to see yesterday's Idaho come alive while appreciating the unique combination of wild rivers, pastoral living and abundant public lands that makes the Gem State one of the nation's most unsung states.
