Free the Snake: Restoring America’s Salmon River
Last year more than 400 people from throughout the Pacific Northwest came together in support of the return of a free-flowing lower Snake River. This year boats will launch from Chief Timothy Park in Clarkston, Wash., and will paddle 3 miles west through the peaceful lower Snake River canyon before paddling back east to the park.
IRU is proud to be among the original handful of organizations to concieve of and help plan this growing and popular event. The third annual Free the Snake Flotilla will be Friday evening, Sept. 8 and Sept. 9 in Clarkston, Wash.
