Cort Conley, a western river guide for 30+ years, will present a historical overview of boating on the Salmon River and talk about some of the people who lived along its shores between Riggins and Painter Mine.
Conley has authored several books on Idaho history and Idaho rivers. He is widely considered an expert on the Salmon River.
Doors open at 6:00 pm. Drinks will be available for purchase at that time. The presentation will begin at 6:30 pm.
This is a part of our on-going 50th Anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act celebration with our series partners, the River Management Society and BLM. Suggested donations during the event to support the future of Idaho's Wild and Scenic rivers, salmon, and clean, free-flowing waters.
