Federal Court Decision Threatens Water Quality in Idaho

IRU, along with a group of partners, recently filed an Amicus Brief following a bad decision out of the D.C. Appellate Court regarding Clean Water Act certification of federally licensed hydropower projects. If the ruling stands, rivers throughout the west (including here in Idaho) could suffer for the next 50 years.

This case is a big deal for Idaho’s rivers. Strict water quality regulations are a necessity, not an option. For more information and a link to the full Amicus Brief click here.
